The Kids On The Move America Educational Programs challenge youth to write down their goals, dreams and visions as a regular point for their progress.

The Kids On The Move America Arts & Music Programs collaborates with youth to create an active learning environment that engages participants in meaningful experiences with different types of art & music.

Learning Objectives:
  • To teach youth about having a purpose, having a vision for their future and setting goals to achieve their vision.


  • Equip youth in developing skills to become self-motivated, independent learners to obtain success.


  • Youth will obtain a basic idea of what career direction they are going to take and make the necessary plans for school or training.
The components of the programs include Language Arts, English Composition and Mathematics.
  • Teach students how to start goal setting and prioritizing.


  • Youth will keep a journal or log of course related ideas.


  • Students will write a short essay of what they really enjoy.


  • The program will supplement the student's current academic efforts as well as begin college exploration and preparatory training.


  • Read books published for positive thinking and goal achievement works (such as Dale Carnegie's book "How to Win Friends and Influence People".)


  • Teach students how to improve study habits and class note taking.


  • During the course of the program, students will receive feedback on their accomplishments and how to improve.


  • Youth will have participations in learning, making, writing, designing, creating and problem solving.


  • Evaluations are based on students’ mastery of knowledge & skills.


  • Provide information on students learning and achievements.


  • Survival and success of our students will depend highly upon personal relationships developed through the understanding and appreciation of world culture.


  • Students will learn how to interact with other cultures by engaging in intercultural dialog. The ability to communicate with another individual is key to harmony.


  • American Culture is a melting pot of other cultures. American culture is made up of bits and pieces of other countries.
Mathematics in Action
  • Students will be assed in Mathematics. Accurately assessing youths' developmental state can direct planning and impel the teaching.


  • Youth will have examples, case studies, or assignments that relate the course contents to youth interest & experience.


  • Will provide individual and group mentoring to assist students with homework, goal setting, strengths and interest. Encourage youth to focus and continue improvement.
At the end of the program student's will have the necessary tools to improve reading skills, study habits, to set and achieve goals, read and research career opportunities to pursue for the future. A graduation ceremony will include both the students and parents.
